SUNSET VERANDA City of Stirling’s pop-up venue for FRINGE WORLD, Brighton Reserve

Luminous: ‘The Silver Lining.’ Our concept of a 3-Dimensional set of cloud shapes which were both interactive and illuminated to transform the entrance into a whimsical stroll amongst the clouds and into Fringe World!

project BLAK designed, fabricated and installed this entry statement, creating super sized iridescent clouds which doubled as a canvas for all to get artsy and draw on. Both materials featured on the clouds and signage changed colour depending on the lighting and viewing angle making it an intriguing transformative feature of the venue. We also produced a custom made ‘Tickets’ sign using a vintage light-box and dichroic film for similar effect.
